It's not a bad scene, but doesn't fit the theme at all.

The dialogue is written a bit too explanatory, they tried to put in all the info you need into three or four sentences of them explaining their back-story to each other, as if they didn't know. Plus the acting was not the best.
Riley's "gay outfit" with those shoes made me chuckle a little.

They start making out on the couch kissing and quickly undressing to their panties making out for a good while, before Ivy starts to finger fuck Riley's pussy.

Even though they don't succeed in making it feel like they are a couple having sex, it sure helps when Riley calls Ivy baby several times.
